We went to Cotton Hills Farm Fall Festival today and had a great time! We played in a maize maze, a hay maze, went on a hay ride, saw some farm animals, watched the Roman Revenge (a trebuchet, or 6 ton torsion catapult), and listened to some bluegrass music.
The trebuchet was by far the best part. It could throw pumpkins a loooonnnng way away :) -they are going for the world record of 2800 feet at the punkin chunkin contest this fall. And we met the Carolina Traveler host, Mike, talking to the Roman Revenge guys.
